Sign a PDF without printing or scanning

Skip the print-sign-scan routine. Open your PDF, add your signature the way you like — a quick drawing with your mouse or finger, your typed name in a handwriting-style font, or a photo of a signature you already have — and drop it exactly where it belongs. Perfect for agreements, consent forms, letters, invoices, and any document that just needs your name.

  • Drawing or typing gives you a clean, transparent signature that sits neatly on the page.
  • Uploading? A transparent PNG looks tidiest — a JPG carries its background along.
  • Everything happens on your device, so private contracts and personal details stay private.

How it works

Three steps. No sign-up, no upload, no wait.

1

Add your PDF

Drop in the PDF you want to sign. It opens right here and never leaves your device.

2

Create your signature

Draw it with your mouse or finger, type your name in a signature font, or upload a picture of your signature.

3

Place it and download

Drag your signature where it belongs, resize it to fit, then download the signed PDF.

🔒

Private by design.Everything happens right here in your browser. Your files are never uploaded — we never see them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. Your PDF is opened, signed, and saved entirely on your own device. Nothing is ever sent to a server, so no one — including us — can see your file or your signature.
Does a signature added here count as a real signature?
For most everyday documents, yes. Electronic signatures are widely accepted for agreements, forms, and letters in many countries. For legal contracts with specific requirements, check what your recipient or local rules ask for — some situations call for a certified or witnessed signature.
How do I get a signature with a transparent background?
Drawing or typing a signature here already gives you a clean, transparent background, so only the ink shows on top of your page. If you upload a signature image, use a PNG that already has a transparent background for the best result — a JPG will bring its white box along with it.
Can I sign more than one page?
Yes. Pick the page you want with the page arrows, position your signature, and download. To sign another page, load the signed file back in, move to that page, and add your signature again.
What image types can I upload as my signature?
PNG or JPG. A PNG with a transparent background looks best because only the signature shows. A photo or scan of a signature on white paper works too, though it will carry its background with it.
Will adding a signature blur or shrink the quality of my PDF?
No. Your original pages are left exactly as they are — the signature is simply drawn on top of the page you choose. The text and images in your document stay perfectly sharp.
